Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. Typical hours are 7 am–3 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Great experience this morning at Tucker tire. I called around 7am to check and see if the shop was even open for service. Upon calling I was told to come on down to get serviced after explaining my situation , and once I arrived the crew jumped right on it.

Too bad I couldn't give less stars. I bought two brand new tires from this establishment thinking I got a deal to find out one of the tires had bubbles in not one but three different spots. I literally drove about 500 miles and it was pointed out to me when I went to a dealership. I never noticed and never hit a pothole but was instructed to go back to the shop I got it from because it had to be a defect. The owner was not cooperative at all and raised his hands as if he had no time for me. It's a shame that I wanted to trust this place because it seemed to be an upstanding family establishment. Just another place who is in no need of developing lifetime customers. If there is a company in St Louis that genuinely cares let me know. I'm so serious.

After calling around I found the best price was here. The guys worked hard non stop to meet the demand of the influx of customers coming in for service. First come first serve. Hey, feel free to give the guys a tip. Let them know their hard work is appreciated. Amen?!!!

Person at the front desk didn’t bother smiling or greeting. They sound like they don’t need your business. I’m happy to take mine somewhere else. Sounds like there are people who’ve posted good experience, which is surprising because as a returning customer on both counts I didn’t have an extraordinary experience. Second time around I actually had a pretty subpar one.
